Welcome to ICON K9 Obedience!
My name is Scott Timm, owner and primary trainer at ICON K9 Obedience. I am a certified dog trainer through the Animal Behavior College (ABC). Our training is positive and force-free. Our goal is to build trust and a bond between the owner and the dog! Doing our best to make training a great experience for the owner and dog!

Puppy Classes
Puppy classes are for puppies 12 weeks to 6 months old. Classes are 6 weeks long and last 50 minutes!

CGC (Canine Good Citizen)
Advanced Basic Obedience class includes the CGC test!
Basic Obedience Classes
Basic Obedience classes are for dogs older than 6 months or have taken the puppy class. Classes are 6 weeks long and last one hour.

Four Week Walking Class!
One on One!
Two Weeks at Training Center.
Two Weeks out for a walk.
Each session 50 minutes.
Back To Basic
This class is tailored to your dogs needs.
I only take two dogs per class so you get more one-on- one help. This is a four week course that is about 50 minutes per class.

Includes the CGC test! Classes are 6 weeks long and last about 50 minutes!

Private Lessons
Private lessons are one on one training with owner and dog.
$40.00 Half hour
$65.00 per hour
$100.00/hour at your home, servicing Ozaukee and Washington counties

There are only 6 dogs per class, so the classes fill quickly

How we came to be
ICON K9 Obedience is a POSITIVE reinforcement training center. The name comes from my son's first police K9, ICON, they were living in Nome Alaska at the time. ICON was the only K9 in Western Alaska, she worked with Alaska Troopers and with the Anchorage DEA. My son and ICON were a large part of getting drugs off the streets in Western Alaska. In July of 2015 our son sent us a text and asked us to pray for ICON, she had a medical emergency and they were flying to Anchorage, there was not a veterinarian in Nome. By the time they were able to get her to the emergency vet in Anchorage, she could not be saved.
For our family, as with any family, this was very difficult, our son had lost his partner and as parents we were not there to comfort our son. Our son has a new K9 partner, Reximus, who is a great police K9 and our son has moved back to Wisconsin.
ICON K9 Obedience is a way that ICON's service and protection of our son is not forgotten. ICON K9 Obedience is a positive, force-free training methodology, training puppies and dogs of all ages and all breeds!
